  • competenceSeveral years of experience as Software Developer and Project Manager in Software development and implementation projects at Swedish consultancy firm Semcon.
  • Developed the main technical intranet web site for Victory Challenge. This included analysis and developing tools utilizing a Matlab webserver as well as performance database (MSSQL) search functions, wrapped in a CMS environment.
  • Developed a technical intranet web site, similar to the one at Victory Challenge but a light version. Utilizing performance data in a MySQL database and PHP/Gnuplot frontend. Developed several Visual Basic.NET plugins to the Deckman for Windows software. Developed several database applications in Visual Basic, VBA, Access, MySQL and SQL.
  • Performed performance analysis for racing yachts TP52:s Matador and Bribon, IRC 72’ Ran 2, STP65 Luna Rossa, Trimaran Banque Populaire V. This work included setting up web sites and producing performance reports on a daily basis.
  • Server on DOS, Windows and Linux platforms for both stand-alone and networked computers. Among these are all custom software for navigation and performance evaluation for Volvo Ocean Race programs ASSA ABLOY and Ericsson Racing team as well as America’s Cup program Victory Challenge.
  • Web site development with HTML, PHP and ASP programming. Project Manager for the web site on ASSA ABLOY project in Volvo Ocean Race, the web site on Volvo Baltic Race Offshore race and technical internal web site for Victory Challenge. Development of  web-based strategy and tuning diary for Swedish Olympic Sailing Team and a sail track visualization software for Swedish Sailing Federation.
  • Developed several communicational applications in Matlab and Visual Basic using Winsock, DDE and ODBC protocol in TCP/IP and NetBEUI networks using direct, dialed-in or VPN clients. 
  • Research fellow at John H Percy Laboratory in the Yacht Research Unit of Auckland University. This was following final year thesis project carried out also at Auckland University Yacht Research Unit.
